| The Purpose of This Website
1) The primary and most important purpose of this website is to provide our students with educational opportunities in computer technology relating to the internet. 2) The second purpose of this website is to provide a means to give recognition to our students in all grades for their achievements in all areas of endeavor which are promoted by the school district. 3) The third purpose of this site
is to provide information to the public and interested parties about the
school and its operation.
The Source of This Website The pages of this website have been entirely
created by the students and staff of Potter-Dix Public Schools. The
software used to create the site consists of Netscape Composer, Microsoft
Office programs, and Adobe Pagemill. No templates or
website-bulding kits have been used, since it is felt that these programs,
while professional in appearance, would not truly reflect the creativity
of students in making their own designs.
Errors The students who create the pages of this website
are encouraged to post accurate information which is grammatically correct.
However, since the primary purpose of their work is concerned with technology,
some misspellings and typographical errors may be noted.
These will be corrected as soon as practical, without detracting from the
main purpose of the students' work. If serious concerns are noted
by visitors to this site, please feel free to contact the school by using
the contact information at the bottom of our main page.
Quality of Pages Each student in the class has a different level
of expertise in web page design and use of software. Pages will therefore
reflect the taste and level of learning of each individual student.
Students are encouraged to experiment with different software and design
methods.
Accuracy and Current Information We hope that this website will be useful to
staff, students, parents, community members, and other interested individuals.
For this reason, we will try to keep information on this website current
and correct. It must be understood, however, that this
site is not maintained by a full-time, professional staff, but by students
with varying levels of expertise and other academic and personal responsibilites.
We cannot guarantee 100% accuracy and current information, although this
will be our goal.
